Just Moving through Life…

Often times, when we’re moving through life (our day), we’re so busy doing all the “things” that we forget to stop and celebrate our little successes, or even the BIG ones.

The truth is, I don’t often stop to even think about it until it’s the last day of the month. I just keep going. Life happens in between with being mom and grandma and wife and sister and daughter and friend; all needing a little bit of me.

I bet the same is true for you.

I sent out my newsletter today; full of all the new designs, what I read this month of September, and what show has my attention on TV. Feel free to read the current issue and subscribe to future ones. Taking the time to sit down and figure out all I have accomplished this month felt good. I honestly was surprised to find that I designed 4 patterns.

Planning didn’t happen in September, as I was finishing up a really big project with Malabrigo (more on this another time SOON), so I grabbed skein after skein and just created designs. Three new sock patterns and one re-imagined older dishcloth pattern, which I’m calling The Ava Dishcloth Knitting Pattern.

I have a passion for what I do, and honestly, I feel really good about what I offer you all as knitters and crocheters… patterns that are easy to read, contain NO charts, and an email if you should have any questions. I’ve been a designer for over 13 years, and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Planning for October has begun. I’ll be adding a new section to my shop called, A Handmade Home. I’ve hired the BEST handmade maker. Yes, they had to “interview” with projects. You all will be so impressed by the attention to detail. I can’t wait to launch that section! Make sure you’re signed up for my Newsletter. You’ll be the first to know! See the highlighted link above.

A couple of sneak peeks…

Thanks for being here today, your support means the world to me. My hope is that my designs bring you much joy, while watching your favorite show, and my curated A Handmade Home products make you fall in love.

Until next time, friend,

Deb
