What’s in my Notions Pouch

I have been knitting for over 20 years. There are essentials that MUST be left in my zipper pouch. Though saying that, I have a couple of zipper pouches at all times because I always have WIPS. As a sock designer, I use (mostly) fingering weight yarn, so the supplies will be based off of that.

Let’s break it down…

There are items that I can highly recommend. I buy most of my stuff at either my LYS (local yarn shop) or Amazon. Maybe Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Perhaps an Instagram maker that influences me. Honestly, wherever I can find them.

I made these cute zipper pouches many years ago, I’ve been asked if I would carry them again. 😉 But, the things inside consist of:

1. Scissors

2. Yarn (or Tapestry) needle for weaving in ends

3. Stitch Markers and Progress Keeper

4. Measuring Tape

5. Tiny Crochet Hook meant for picking up those little fingering weight stitches that get away, and snaggle down your sock.

Well, time to get back to knitting. I have a new Coffeehouse Sock Collection coming out this month. I’m so excited to show it to you! For now, you can visit my shop to see what other sock sets I have available.
